Chatbots like ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Claude can sound sure and still be wrong, especially with numbers, sources, and step-by-step instructions.
Paste what you asked and what the AI answered. This page turns it into a message you can paste into a new chat, asking a chatbot to check the answer instead of just agreeing with it.

We haven't tested this checking message in any chatbot's free app yet. It can still be wrong. Treat it as a second opinion, not proof.
Three rules for checking any AI answer
- Ask again in a fresh chat, or a different chatbot. Not the same conversation: there, it can stick with what it already said. If two answers disagree, check it yourself.
- Check numbers and sources yourself. Add up any numbers on a calculator. Open any source or link it gives. If you can't find it, don't trust it.
- For health, legal, money or official matters, confirm with a person. Use the AI to prepare your questions, then check with someone qualified: a doctor, a pharmacist, a lawyer, or the office that sent the letter.
About your privacy
What you type in the boxes stays on this page. It isn't sent to us or saved. The message is put together right here in your browser.
Like every page here, this page counts visits and clicks on some buttons and links, anonymously. For each one, the counter records only the page address, the name of the button (for example "check-copy"), and for visits, the name of the website that linked you here, if any. It uses no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you. It never includes what you type.
The chatbot you paste into is run by another company, and it will see whatever you paste.
